Grace Yen Hoong Ooi

Grace Yen Hoong Ooi, MD, graduated from the renowned McGill University School of Medicine in Canada. With a strong belief in evidence-based medicine, she pursued her passion for scientific research at Harvard University. Dr. Ooi then chose to dedicate herself to caring for children and completed her postgraduate Pediatric Residency at Albert Einstein Medical College in New York. Dr. Ooi is accredited by the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been tirelessly serving the underserved community for over 10 years.  Dr. Ooi is widely acclaimed for her minimalist intervention approach. She places strong emphasis on promoting the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being in early childhood, and she rigorously applies this philosophy at Happiness Pediatrics. Beyond her clinical practice, she also serves as a clinical instructor at Weil Cornell Medical Center and NYU Langone Hospital, as well as acting as an avid educator in many other healthcare programs throughout New York. Her exceptional contributions to children’s healthcare have not gone unnoticed, as she has been recognized as one of the top IPA providers at Healthfirst quality incentive program. Dr. Ooi is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
